SUMMARY:SBIR Bootcamp
DESCRIPTION:Bootcamp is a two day event – July 13 from 9am – 4pm AND July 14 from 9am – 2pm. Attendance on both days is required for participation. \n*Please note that each member of your team will need to register separately for this course. If you have worked with Missouri SBDC previously\, you will register as an existing account (you may need to reset your password). If you are new to our center\, you will create a new account to register.\nDo you have an innovative\, significant technology with commercial potential? \nAre you interested in or planning to apply for one of the lucrative SBIR or STTR research grants offered by the Federal Government? \nThen the SBIR Bootcamp may be right for you. Open to qualified participants\, the 2-day Bootcamp will be taught by  Assel Grant Writing Services\, one of the area’s top grant-writers\, together with our Missouri SBDC technology development and commercialization experts. They will lead you through the process of developing an SBIR or STTR grant proposal. You will receive group and one-on-one coaching as you work through each section of the grant application. By the end of the bootcamp you will have developed an outline for your grant proposal. \n$2500 Phase 0 grants may be available to qualified companies for grant-writing assistance.More information will be available at the bootcamp.  \n \n\n\n\nRegister here

SUMMARY:The First Steps to Starting a Business
DESCRIPTION:Are you ready to learn the basics of starting a new business? This three-hour class provides an overview of the critical first steps needed to start a business. Participants learn to assess their strengths and weaknesses in terms of business ownership\, and the importance of planning\, meeting legal and regulatory requirements and identifying sources of financing. \n\n\n\nThis is our last time offering this class on a regular scheduled basis.
